In the process of moving, and organizing my new craft area, I discovered just how many UFO's (Un-Finished Objects) I have in my crafting supplies. Shame on me, 3 boxes full of them, not to mention the ones that are actually tucked in with the supplies themselves. A half beaded belt, A half crocheted poncho, my son's old t-shirts for a memory quilt, patterns cut out and never sewn together, the rest of my Christmas village I haven't painted, and so many more that I don't want to think about.
So I'm making a promise to myself. After the crazy Christmas crafting is done, I will start tackling my UFO's. Guess you can call it my New Year's Resolution. January 1st, 2011 I will start knocking out a craft project each day. That's my goal. Perhaps there will be some larger projects that take more days, but why not squeeze in a quick 10 or 15 minute project in, then work on the big one for a while? Well, now that I have a plan in place to get those taken care of after the holidays, I feel like I can relax and enjoy getting ready for Christmas this year. Plus it will give me plenty of time to take a peak at all those projects and figure out if I need tools or supplies to finish them (would be a great thing to add to my Christmas list).
How about all you in blogland? How many UFO's do you have around? How many ideas in your head that never quite make it out? I issue this challenge to you all, find those UFO's, make a list of those ideas, and join me in bringing in the new year with some crafty projects.
Until next time, Happy Crafting

This is a good challenge! I definitely need to write all the ideas down--I have supplies to make many different projects, but relying on my memory doesn't seem to be enough.
